Re: NMRView strips

Hi,

I've had the same problem, and it seems to be specific to the Mac, and specific to certain types of data. I've opened the same dataset in Linux, and  been able to simply drag the peaks into any order I want. In Mac when I try to do this, I get an error (attached below). Our post-doc opened a different dataset in Mac and was able to move things around fine. The dataset I'm having trouble with is an 15N-edited NOESY (1H-15N-1H), using an HSQC peaklist (with a third dimension added) as a control list. This also seems to happen with at least the last three versions of NVJ.

Has anyone found a work around for this?

Dear all,

I´m using NMRViewJ version 7.0.16 on a Mac. I would like to organize strips so
that they are not ordered by peak number (0,1,2,3,4,...) but by the order I
specify of peak number (e.g. 3,7,19,23,...). I tried using the sort window and
although I manage to introduce a list of peaks in the order I would like to be
displayed on the strips, I´m not able to get them displayed in the strips in
such an order.

Also I remember in NMRViewC I was able to change the position of a peak by
clicking on the corresponding entry in the listbox and dragging the entry to a
new position in the list. The Strip plot automatically adjusted itself to the
new order of peaks. I´m not able to do so in NMRViewJ. Is it possible?

Thank you very much in advance,

Natàlia
