Re: NMRView figure export from Nmrview

Hi Markus,

Thanks for the feedback.

If you set the line width for plots to a larger value than the default the peaks will not be so faint when exporting.

The default value is 0.2, a value of 1.0 will give better exports:

nv_win poswidth 1.0
nv_win negwidth 1.0

I understand the print problem, when printing multiple panes, and will be fixing it relatively soon.

I tried the below suggested way of plotting. Problem is, that the peaks show up very faint and a window with multiple panes can not be printed or saved this way. Is there any other way to address this? Maybe the plot fix you've talked about will provide more sophisticated options. In the current state, it is really difficult to make presentable spectra that I can add to a ppt presentation. All I can do right now is the copy image and paste, which looks very bad on the screen and makes it not very appealing for new users to use NVJ.

Here are two other, less important issues you might already be aware off: - the copy , paste limit does no longer just paste the limits, but the entire spectrum with the peaklist - the cursor leaves a bunch of traces on the spectrum, even if the spectrum is redrawn (making copy and past to ppt even look worse)

Choose Windows->Export from the main control bar to get a dialog which will let you choose a variety of vector and bitmap formats to export the current spectrum in. At present, tif is not one of them, but there are lots of others.

Is there any way to directly export/ save a spectra as a tif file from nmrview? If not, what is the best way to make a figure to show an overlay of multiple spectra from nmrview?

Thanks,
